Program Overview
Step into the spirit of champions with the Celtic Football Experience — a rare opportunity to train at one of the most storied and passionately supported clubs in world football. Led by Celtic FC Academy Coaches, participants will develop their game through the same training philosophies that have shaped generations of Celtic stars. Alongside high-level coaching, you’ll enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access to Celtic Park (Paradise) — one of the largest and most atmospheric stadiums in the UK — plus a Q&A with former players and memorable cultural experiences across Glasgow. This is more than training — it’s your chance to feel the Celtic identity, embrace its history, and grow your game at the club where football is a way of life. Train under official Celtic FC Academy Coaches. Exclusive guided tour of Celtic Park and the Celtic Museum. Meet and learn from former Celtic players or coaches. Receive an official Celtic training kit. Experience professional matches and explore Glasgow’s rich football culture.
Sample Team Itinerary
Day 1 · Travel
Flight. Overnight flights to Edinburgh.
Day 2 · Arrival + Training Block 1
Arrive in Glasgow, meet Tour Director at airport. Airport transfer and hotel check-in. Lunch and welcome/orientation meeting. Celtic Academy coaching session in the afternoon. Evening dinner.
Day 3 · Sightseeing + Match
Glasgow City Tour including George Square, River Clyde & West End. Attend Scottish Premiership Match (subject to schedule and availability). Evening team discussion.
Day 4 · Training Block 2
Celtic Academy coaching in the morning. Celtic Park (Paradise) Stadium Tour + Club Museum visit. Q&A with a former Celtic player in the afternoon. Evening free time or optional swimming recovery.
Day 5 · Training Block 3 + Fixture 1
Celtic Academy coaching in the morning. Glasgow Mural & Street Art Walking Tour in the afternoon. Evening match vs local Scottish opposition.
Day 6 · Sightseeing + Training Block 4
Visit Celtic Training Centre (Lennoxtown) for guided tour. Celtic Academy coaching session at training ground or local facility. Evening bowling, cinema, or team bonding activity.
Day 7 · Training Block 5 + Tour
Celtic Academy coaching in the morning. Afternoon visit to Hampden Park — Scottish National Stadium Tour. Evening group dinner in Glasgow.
Day 8 · Training Block 6 + Fixture 2
Celtic Academy coaching in morning. Afternoon team preparation session/video analysis. Evening match vs local Scottish opponents. Awards dinner.
Day 9 · Travel
Departure from Edinburgh, airport transfers.

With Axis Football Tours, teams enjoy thrilling fixtures against carefully matched local opponents, tailored by age and ability. Every match is fully organised — with pitch hire, referees, and all travel costs included — for a seamless, professional experience. For an even greater challenge, we can also arrange entry into international tournaments, giving players the unforgettable experience of competing in a global football environment against teams from around the world.
Training
Teams travelling with Axis Football will have the exclusive opportunity to be trained by coaches from local professional club academies. All players will be given a Player Development Plan (PDP) highlighting an improvement plan regardless of the level they are currently at.
Classroom Sessions
All Axis Football Tours benefit from purposeful classroom development sessions, designed to enhance understanding beyond the pitch. Whether analysing match footage, exploring tactical principles, engaging in Q&A discussions with professional players, or strengthening team identity through workshops, these sessions ensure every player grows technically, tactically, and personally as part of their tour experience.
