Sample Team Itinerary
Day 1 · Travel
Flight. Overnight flights to Barcelona.
Day 2 · Arrival + Training Block 1
Arrive Barcelona, meet Tour Director. Private coach transfer to Villarreal accommodation & check-in. Lunch and orientation briefing. First Villarreal Academy coaching session in the afternoon. Evening dinner.
Day 3 · Cultural Experience + La Liga Match
Barcelona City Tour — Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Sagrada Família exterior. Attend La Liga Match 1 (Villarreal if home, or alternative top-flight fixture depending on schedule). Evening team talk and reflection.
Day 4 · Training Block 2
Villarreal Academy coaching in the morning. Guided Estadio de la Cerámica stadium tour and club museum. Q&A with former Villarreal player or academy staff in afternoon. Evening free time or recovery walk.
Day 5 · Training Block 3 + Fixture 1
Morning training session with Villarreal coaches. Afternoon visit to Castellón old town or local beach break. Evening fixture vs regional Spanish opposition (age/level matched)
Day 6 · Training Block 4 + Barcelona Experience
Return to Barcelona for full-day cultural and sightseeing exploration. Evening group dinner in the city before returning to Villarreal.
Day 7 · Training Block 5 + Stadium Tour
Villarreal Academy coaching in the morning. Transfer to Valencia for a guided Mestalla Stadium Tour. Evening bowling, cinema or team bonding activity.
Day 8 · Training Block 6 + Fixture 2 + Awards Dinner
Morning match preparation and tactical session. Evening fixture vs local Spanish club (age/level appropriate). Awards dinner.
Day 8 · Travel
Depart from Barcelona, airport transfers.

For an even greater challenge, we can also arrange entry into international tournaments, giving players the unforgettable experience of competing in a global football environment against teams from around the world.
Training
Teams travelling with Axis Football will have the exclusive opportunity to be trained by coaches from local professional club academies. All players will be given a Player Development Plan (PDP) highlighting an improvement plan regardless of the level they are currently at.
Classroom Sessions
All Axis Football Tours benefit from purposeful classroom development sessions, designed to enhance understanding beyond the pitch. Whether analysing match footage, exploring tactical principles, engaging in Q&A discussions with professional players, or strengthening team identity through workshops, these sessions ensure every player grows technically, tactically, and personally as part of their tour experience.
